Shipping Policy

Domestic and International

Memento has shipped our products all over the world.  The VAT tax outside of the domestic United States is somewhat prohibitive and often a surprise to patrons.  Because of this, international can be arranged but is not set as an available option in our cart/checkout.  Please contact us to make arrangements.

Tracking

Once completed and a shipping label is created, you will receive a tracking number from our systems.

Current Carriers

We love the USPS but have found it unreliable for important packages in the past few years.  Until that institution is restored to its former glory, we have found the best reliability from UPS and offer this exclusively during checkout but we reserve the right to switch to any carrier serve you better.  If there is a carrier that you prefer or does not deliver to your area, contact us to make those arrangements.

Shipping Speed/Cost

Your available shipping speeds/rates are calculated and presented based on your shipping address at checkout.

Priority/Rush

There are often circumstances of urgent timeline around the need for our product.  Please get in touch with us to make sure we can meet your need or let us know in your order comments.  If we know of your need, we can often accommodate it.  Speed of shipping and rates are selected upon checkout.

Order Processing Times

We strive for next business day on retail orders of in-stock items but guarantee 2 business days.  If there were some reason this schedule was not able to be met, we will get in touch to arrange your satisfaction.  Customizations and engraving add one additional business day past approval of electronically provided proofs.  Custom projects or made-to-order products/projects have their own individual timelines agreed to in advance but are subject to discoveries in the process.  Wholesale orders take additional time to assemble but are generally ready to ship within one week of order.

Local Pickup

When entered at checkout, if your address is available for local pickup, it will be offered as an option.  If you are outside of one of the zip codes and would still like to pick up, please get in touch to arrange.

Potential Service Interruptions

Early in the Covid-19 pandemic, a patron ordered two one-of-a-kind cremation keepsake urns.  They lived in Europe and after we sent the completed products via USPS, their country stopped accepting mail from the United States.  That order never left no-mans-land.  Luckily, we had a few other similar components in stock to be able to recreate the order and send via UPS.  We did this at our expense not knowing if we would get the insurance.

Everything that ships from our studio is fully insured but our patrons are never expected to pursue compensation from a carrier.

If we have replacements available that can get to you in a timely fashion, we will send them.  If not, we will refund your purchase.

Weather, society, acts of God/war, or other service interruptions are totally outside of our control.  We ask for your understanding while we try to work around them.
