Late last winter my girls and I were enamored with a book called The Girl Inside the Castle in the Museum. I think they liked it because of what they saw in each other and themselves in the book (which was kind of the author's intent, having written in an actual mirror into the book, if I recall correctly). I loved it for that but also for the fanciful, dreamy illustrations of toy-like apparatuses by Nicoletta Ceccoli.
I think about what parents in the horrible situation of having lost an infant often and we strive to provide something that is wonderful to touch and is fitful for holding the cremains of little ones. My greatest hope is that our products feel good to those who are left behind to heal. Additional works within this inspiration are forthcoming.
